Recently, every time I log into Niantic Wayfarer, I receive a notification email from Google with the subject/content along the lines of “You shared some Google Account data with nianticlabs .com” (translated from the original Japanese email).
I recall that closing my browser (both iOS Safari and Windows Edge) has always cleared my session, requiring a fresh login each time. However, starting around the following periods, I began receiving this notification email every single time I successfully log in:
June 9, 2026 – June 18, 2026
July 1, 2026 – Present
Interestingly, this community forum keeps me logged in for a relatively long time and never triggers such emails. This issue only occurs when logging into the main Wayfarer site.
I would like to ask the community:
Has anyone else recently (especially since June) started receiving these Google data-sharing notification emails every time you log into Wayfarer?
Is there any known workaround to keep the Wayfarer session alive longer, or is this a recent change in the authentication system?
I have attached a screenshot of the email I receive (in Japanese, but it is the standard Google Sign-In notification). Any insights or information would be greatly appreciated!
It’s a total pain.
It logs me out of the website repeatedly
And I’m now being asked by google to verify it’s me every few days.

It’s the same here. My sign-in session times out quickly, I receive an email every time I sign in.
Sometimes Google asks me to select numbers on my smartphone to verify my identity.
Same here. Wayfarer (not the forum) on Windows Chrome logs out after around an hour and I get the google-sharing email each time I log back in.
This started a few days ago - before that, the session would stay logged in even after restarts.
Also, after a forced login, I always get sent to Niantic Wayfarer
(I have only attached a screenshot of the very top as the HTML contains all of my submissions.)

The frequent logout issue is because of Niantic Wayfarer.
Being sent to the Manage API is due to a conflict with third party tools when Niantic logs out and the causes issues when the tools try to load things.
But it’s not relevant to the issue Niantic needs to solve and may cause confusion when they cannot replicate.
Thank you all for the replies. It is reassuring to know I am not alone in this—though it’s unfortunate that we are all sharing the same pain.
I will keep an eye on this thread and see if we get any official response or fix from the Wayfarer team.
While needing to re-login has long been an annoyance, the number of emails does seem be higher.
My bet is Scopely migration. :->
