The quality and features that made this mural “a place worthy of exploration” are no longer apparent as the artwork in its original form no longer exists. The mural has been vandalised and is almost fully covered by graffiti. The original mural was never protected by an anti-graffiti coating and hence cannot be restored.
The pinned photograph shows only a minor part of the original mural remaining (top right hand corner) with the rest of the mural covered in later graffiti / tags.
Please review your previous decision not to remove this wayspot.

The art here appears as good as you can get for what is actually graffiti and not official murals. I’d consider accepting this as an artistic location on which high quality graffiti is found. The streetview images from 2014 onwards show the artwork changing each time but not disappearing.
Since the wayspot is called “Mural Car Park West Perth”, it can reasonably be interpreted at not being targeted at a specific mural that no longer exists, but being targeted at the artistic location itself.
This may be why Niantic rejected the removal request - although an earlier mural (that was presumably the original photo) is no longer there, this isn’t obvious re-purposing and the art is still there.

Thanks for the appeal, @HinduLoveGods. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
