I recently reported a waypoint as no longer an existence, a “marsh restoration” sign in a San Francisco Bay area regional shoreline. I’ve been by the previous location of the sign several times in the past three years, it has not been replaced nor is there any indication it will be replaced. My suggestion to remove the portal was rejected without other explanation, I provided photographs that demonstrated the lack of the old sign, do you have any other suggestions for how to remove a legitimately gone POI?
Welcome to the forum @vindalooq
There is a category here for appealing rejected removal reports in Wayspot Appeals. You will be asked for a screenshot of the email of the rejection of the report.
If you already submitted photos, I assume you used one of the forms listed at the top here and I am not sure what more evidence you could give. The other suggestion Niantic has made is to make a splat:Leveling Up Your Appeals and Removal Reports
How did you report it? and how did you provide the photographic evidence?
I reported it through the app, and did include a photograph of the area (a small water channel by a trail, with no signs or even signposts.
Thanks for the info, folks.
by the app you mean in game? and how did you provide the photo, since their is no option to provide photo evidence
