Just wanted to put this here. Niantic rejected my removal report for a camp for special needs kids. Instead of trying to appeal it here, I found a contact email and sent a nice note to the camp letting them know the pokestops existed. I even said, “If the Wayspots are just extra fun for campers and staff, great, but if they are causing any issues for you, Niantic will remove them on request for the property management.” My conscious was clear either way they decided.
I got a reply thanking me for letting them know, and that they had submitted the request for removal. No arguments with Niantic staff over whether this was an appropriate location. I wish reviewers had just rejected the Wayspots in voting like I did when I saw them come through, and I wish my report had been accepted in the first place, but it should not be a problem in the future now.

You are right that camps for children (or any place created for parents leave their children in the care of others) should not have passed as wayspots.
Your report was probably reviewed by an off-shore contractor, probably in India. They may not have camps in the way the U.S. and Europe do.
(My first removal request was Nov 2016). I have 69 removal requests declined, and 35 accepted. I imagine that’s normal for other Wayfarers, and I wonder if report reviewers are told that it’s OK to reject 2/3.
This one does feature family events, too, so I could see how it could be looked at as a gray area, but is primarily to leave the kids in care of others. With all these faction wars posted on here, I see why Niantic would be hesitant to remove anything that isn’t 100% clear. I let the management decide if they should be there.

Thanks for letting the camp know that they’re there, and how to request removal, so they could decide for themselves. The parents would thank you too, if they understood.
It’s pretty audacious that Niantic can put things anywhere, and it’s up to the property owner to realize it, figure out who did it, and request removal. But that’s the way it is.
