I too, would love to know the thinking behind rejecting stops without reasons given. seems vampiric.

In this case the reason was given. The submission used a photo that was also used online other places. So this was correctly called out as a Third Party photo rejection.
I know some of the rejections can be a bit mysterious. Do you have some examples to share that are confusing?

Yes. I thought maybe we could help you with one or more of yours since you posted in this thread.
I have no idea how to transfer pictures over to the wayfarer site. I understand why people feel the need to reject others, it’s a strong motivator to have the power to reject others. I just want to know why my submission for a pokestop was rejected and they DO NOT SAY WHY. how can I resubmit with a corrected submission of I don’t know what to correct? why is this done?

Did you get the “automated process” rejection? I think that is a really clear one. They did not detect something that met criteria in the nomination.

this “explanation” is way too vague.
The “our team” language indicates that it was an internal review. Either the Machine Learning (ML) filtered it out or an employee reviewed it. I suspect it was ML because of the vague language you received.
They don’t want people to know why ML rejected things in much detail. I’d recommend sharing screenshots of your nomination from the contribution tab. Folks here may be able to give some help and insight of why it failed and how to improve it. Or if you should appeal it.

that attitude does not grow the game. making it hard just because they can is no excuse. there is a pokestop 65 feet away from this one, virtually the same.
I do not know how to include a screenshot of the submission. I can however take another picture while not playing the game and post it here.
That attitude is to avoid abuse.

You can do a screen snip or a screenshot from your contributions page at Niantic Wayfarer
Showing us a new photo will not help advise on why yours may have been rejected. We would need to see the photo and text you used.

We cannot see what is on your Wayfarer Contributions tab from the link. If we use the link we log onto our on Contributions.
I find it easiest to logo from my phone and save screenshots. The screenshots can be shared here.
