Staff do look at the threads here. You often see a bunch of threads (wayspot appeals etc) getting resolved close together. I believe there is the correct information in this thread now.

This is why this area exists. Its not uncommon for it to take a week or so to get the formal response.
Is it normal for this to take a bit longer? I’ve noticed some posts that were only two of days old already received a response from Niantic, so I just wanted to check in. Thanks in advance!
