Firstly, here is the spot identified on Google Maps. This is the building where the Wayspot used to be before another mural took it’s place.
Secondly here is the link to Google Streets: It has been updated to show this is now part of an array of “Pat Stay Murals” as of December 2024. It is not the Sunset Mural as identified in the Wayspot.
Thirdly, I want to point out the Wayspot’s “photo history”. It’s quite eclectic. It seems this Wayspot has undergone some degree of repurposing over it’s life. The Sunset Mural is not the original Wayspot as per the age of the photos. I don’t think trainers have been as educated about “repurposing” as they are today.
From what I recall, this used to be the “Blacksmith Mural” on/around at least five years ago when I started playing. You would be able to validate that through mod history on your side? By looking at the photo history and what I know of this Wayspot in the five years I’ve played, it’s been “repurposed”, something I have learned a lot about these past few months on the forum as a big no-no.
Asides the fact the “Sunset Beauty Mural” is not the original Wayspot and the history of the Wayspot photos shows “an array” of different murals on this wall, I can support with GPS photos that connect the building walls to show it’s undisputed that this is no longer here.
Although the “Stay Forever” Mural has taken the “Sunset Beauty Mural’s” place, it may be in the most updated photo history, but it is not the original Wayspot here. From what I understand is the precedent on these matters, would the “Sunset Beauty Mural” to undergo a Wayspot removal and a nomination for a new Wayspot for the “Stay Forver” mural be acceptable to nominate? Around the corner is the “Pat Stay Graffiti”, so I am not sure if that’s redundant, but anyways, I don’t want to stray too far from the task at hand: the appeal of the Sunset Beauty Mural removal.
If so, then I hope my level of detail satisfies my appeal for the Sunset Beauty Mural removal.
