I couldn’t find the Gym at first, which is why I reported it for removal. The case was closed with the explanation that I didn’t provide sufficient evidence.
I later returned to the location and searched the area more thoroughly. It turns out the Gym is placed very inaccurately. It is not visible from the in-game marked location, and the actual sign is about 15 meters away, mounted on the side of a rock. It was covered in moss and dirt, which made it difficult to find.
I cleaned the sign and also submitted a scan video where I run from the in-game marked location to the actual position of the sign.
Unfortunately, there is no option (or I couldn’t find one) to report that a Gym is misplaced, so I reopened the case as a removal request. I would like to ask that the Gym be relocated. Please refer to the geotagged images I have uploaded here.

I haven’t, because I do most of my activities in the Pokémon GO app itself, and an option like this is not listed under PokéStops or Gyms. I’ve always wondered why Pokémon GO has so many different menus with very similar purposes, yet they are still kept separate.
I’d like to kindly follow up on a location report I submitted earlier.
At first, I couldn’t find the PokéStop/Gym on site, but after further checking, I realized that it is actually placed in the wrong location. I’ve since gathered and submitted supporting evidence to clarify this.
However, there hasn’t been any update so far — the Gym has neither been removed nor relocated.
Could someone please take another look at this report when possible? I’d really appreciate any help or update.
You should use the Wayfarer help chat as @wooperIooper advised you to - “the removal request was not a removal request but actually is a location edit” is not really a standard type of appeal on this forum, so staff may well skip it, whereas help chat is exactly for that and will get it done in a few hours. I followed your advice, but it turned into a bit of a mess. The gym was moved at my request, but it ended up farther away. I opened a second ticket, and on the Wayfarer map everything looked fine.
When I first reported the issue, I left a Pokémon in the gym to check if it would be removed. I can still see my Pokémon in Pokémon GO, but I can’t interact with it because the gym won’t load. I went back to the location, and now, even though Wayfarer shows it as a gym, it has become a PokéStop in-game.
Now several of our Pokémon seem to be stuck in that gym. At least the location is correct now…
