fyi, I see the Wayspot for this location still exists in the database, so it appears that only the Pokemon Go game location has been removed. This usually happens due to a property owner request. Niantic would have to confirm that this is the case here.
I can confirm what @cyndiepooh is saying - it’s still in the database. I have checked the area on Campfire and it appears that you have a lot of Niantic sponsored Gyms at this location. I’m guessing one of the sponsored Gyms may have been too close to the existing Gym and that’s what’s caused it to disappear. It might come back when the sponsored locations are no longer there.
i always forget that can happen with the sponsored locations making approved locations disappear since i haven’t ever witnessed that myself - ty and maybe one day i will remember that

Good point. It’s a mall, so not surprised there are a good number of sponsored gyms here.
And I’m also thinking this is just a stop now, since the OP never mentioned anything about it missing from the database, just asking for the S2 cells to be checked.
