2). @NianticAtlas - Ambassador have to power over this community. Because instead of helping the community with there question. They just close them. Is there a basic knowledge test or guidelines for them to follow.
3) @26thDoctor - I totally agree with you in your first statement.
My apologies to the community for making this a topic again. But my question was not addressed by our community ambassadors which should be our helping hand in such topics

I don’t want to say something to your points 1-3, but if you’re looking for a community ambassador I give you the tipp to look into campfire.
Open the map, filter on “meet up” and look in the description who hosted it. Than send a message to him/her. Good luck!
I apologize if the closure of your thread came across as abrupt. The ambassador likely deemed it necessary to close the What if you don’t have an ambassador thread to avoid contentious replies and maintain a positive atmosphere in the forum.
Regarding the Extra pokestops camfire no activations Help thread, it was indeed off-topic for this forum. Closing threads that are off-topic helps keep the forum focused and relevant. In this case, I believe @MegaTrainerRed acted appropriately, especially since @hankwolfman had already provided the necessary information. If there were more details to add, I’m confident they would have been shared.

Hi, I think the issue here is that you are confusing Pokémon GO Community Ambassadors and Wayfarer Ambassadors. These are not the same ambassadors and they interact with different Niantic products, as I think you have been told in the past already. Discussions and announcements related to the Ambassador program that you can find on here sometimes are related to the Wayfarer program, not the Pokémon GO one. A Wayfarer Ambassador cannot help you with activations, and is not qualified to answer Pokémon GO gameplay questions as they literally could have no idea. So yes, this is a Pokémon GO related question and this forum is therefore neither an adequate avenue for finding one nor for establishing one in your area as this is a Wayfarer forum.
This is why this discussion was mentioned as being off-topic. I hope this helps clarify a little bit.
I found this link that explains how the Pokémon GO Community Ambassador program works, and as @AliceWonder1511 mentioned above local Pokémon GO Community Ambassadors host events on Campfire.

We are obviously the worst and hate fun, but whether we want it or not there are certain guidelines as to what belongs on this forum that were established by the Niantic team.

First to clarify for anyone reading,
There are Pokemon Go Community Ambassadors - there are a lot of them and they use Campfire to be a link with the wider Pokemon Go community of players. So specifically about playing Go.
Wayfarer has a small group of Wayfarer Ambassadors.

With the move to this forum, the Ambassadors were given moderation privileges to complement the small team of staff. We are open to feedback about this, Forum Suggestions would be an appropriate area I think. One idea behind this is that with a bigger moderation team across the globe that moderation issues can be resolved quickly. We hope that is working reasonably well.
We are very happy to help with questions around the use of Wayfarer.
This may be about very specific cases through to much wider issues that we pick up on.
We are first and foremost fellow wayfinders and with the additional ambassador role we act as a focussed link to the Wayfarer Team. We are very much part of the community on this forum. This forum is Wayfarers place provided to communicate with the community and very much a place for the community to discuss and support each other.
I am not confusing the two. I want to know if there one for Naintic Ambassador s in my community or close by. I know about the in game once in my community and there is none . .?.
There are no Niantic Ambassadors.
If you mean Wayfarer Ambassadors then we are spread out, but not everywhere we have someone on every continent with the exception of Africa.
But as Wayfarer Ambassadors we don’t confine ourselves with geographic area.
What sort of help / questions are you seeking assistance with?

Primero de todo, reconozco que mi comentario quizás fue un poco abrupto y escueto. En ese momento me encontraba a punto de subir a un avión dispuesto a volver de mis vacaciones, por lo que entré al foro a ver si había algo de última hora en lo que ayudar y vi ese tema con una respuesta acertada de @hankwolfman (a quien agradezco siempre su ayuda), por lo que me dispuse a marcar su comentario como la solución a la pregunta y a cerrar el tema ya que, como han comentado otras personas, es una pregunta no relacionada con la temática del foro, que es Wayfarer; además de que parece que se está confundiendo el término Embajador de la Comunidad (PoGo) con Embajador de Wayfarer.
Respondiendo al comentario de @26thDoctor que me hizo, permitir que se deje tiempo para dar respuestas a las preguntas no relacionadas con Wayfarer en un foro de Wayfarer puede resultar improductivo. Como ha comentado @NianticAtlas (a quien agradezco su participación en esta discusión), el tema era off-topic, por lo que actué como se supone que debería. Quizás estas situaciones deban ser habladas en privado entre Niantic y los Embajadores para futuros posibles casos. Agradecería por favor @26thDoctor que entiendas que no todos los Embajadores somos angloparlantes, por lo que a veces nuestras formas de expresarnos o la capacidad para hacerlo se ven absolutamente limitadas y pueden verse malinterpretadas en el contexto. Reconozco que mi respuesta pudo haber sido más amigable pero en el contexto en el que la escribí no pude hacerlo. Es un hecho que me he dado cuenta a posteriori, no he de responder a nadie si no tengo el tiempo necesario para hacer una respuesta elaborada, por lo que en esos casos es mejor dejar la respuesta o decisión a otro Embajador o miembro del Staff. En cuanto a la última frase de tu último comentario, soy principalmente jugador de Pokémon GO, empecé a jugar Ingress hace apenas 2 meses para conseguir el suficiente nivel para poder tener 40 nominaciones más, pero a la hora de actuar en el foro trato de ser agnóstico, habría cerrado igualmente el tema si hubiese sido una duda no relacionada con Wayfarer y solamente particular de Ingress, Pikmin, Monster Hunter, etc.
Agradecería por favor que se comprenda que los Embajadores somos personas que han decidido tratar de ayudar a la comunidad de la mejor manera posible sin esperar una recompensa a cambio. Dedicamos nuestro tiempo libre a un hobby que nos encanta de forma gratuita, no trabajamos para Niantic. Y que los Embajadores que moderamos este foro lo hacemos como un plus añadido a nuestras labores, lo hacemos porque queremos ayudar a la comunidad. A veces es una tarea complicada, y más cuando lo haces en un idioma que no es el tuyo propio. Espero que ninguna de mis palabras sean malinterpretadas. Sé que cometo fallos y trato de aprender de ellos, al igual que puede pasarle al resto de mis compañeros. Somos personas normales e imperfectas. Like the previous thread and @Orgelux1558 thread the were three possible outcomes.
The person posting the thread would have received a few answers then went on their merry way. Nobody would have noticed apart from a few unhappy factions.
The thread would have went on for way too long and an Ambassador could have rightly stepped in and said I’m going to close this.
One of your Ambassadors could have stepped in and shut down the thread without the person gaining any more information.
Do you see how bizarre it is to shut down people asking innocuous questions about things related to the company you work for?

I would say it’s only a problem if you think the incorrect path could possibly be dangerous, if so report it it and see if it gets removed. I often get a bit of drift but realistically you don’t have to follow the path exactly along the blue line.
I understand what you’re suggesting @26thDoctor However, regardless of Pokémon GO being a Niantic game, discussions about Routes are considered off-topic here because they are specific to Pokémon GO. We want to avoid any false impressions that Routes are related to Wayfarer or that the Wayfarer staff can assist with them.
This forum is meant to focus on Wayfarer-related topics to keep discussions relevant and organized. I hope this clarifies the situation.
That’s fair and obviously keeping the forum focused on the Wayfarer side is sensible.
I do think that Ambassadors immediately closing down threads whether that’s their own personal obsessions or what they have been asked to do is unproductive.
If a customer asked me about product x even though I deal with product y I wouldn’t ask a foreman to shut the door on someone’s face or hang up the phone on them until I’d helped them out as much as possible to find out the information they need from my company which makes both product x and y.
And if i were a person seeking answers on a product, i wouldn’t want someone who knows nothing about the product, and has no connection to the product team to give me random answers that have no bearing in reality. Doing that is a sure fire way to waste their time and make them angry. It’s far better service to tell them that you can’t assist them than to give them incorrect information.
You are operating under the premise that people who work at the same company should know everything about everything and that is wrong.

I’m not operating under any premise or expecting a single person to know everything or for a Wayfarer employee to have all the answers.
It’s a discussion forum for people to connect and talk to each other. There are many people on here who have knowledge about aspects of all different Niantic products.
I can easily answer or point them in the direction of someone on here who can help them to answer their question.
