Hello Wayfarer team and community,
I would like to ask for clarification regarding a recent 30-day suspension applied to my Wayfarer and Pokémon GO accounts.
Timeline of the situation:
• On December 25, 2025 I received a warning after submitting a Wayspot nomination that was considered to be at an incorrect location. This was an honest mistake. The Wayspot in question was later re-submitted correctly and accepted, although it may not have appeared in Pokémon GO due to cell coverage, it is visible in other Niantic games.
• Recently I submitted a title edit for an existing Wayspot called “Noelia Novias”. The edit was intended only to reflect the current real-world name of the store, as the business name has changed. The location and the Wayspot itself were not modified. I have contributed to numerous Wayspots in the area, always aiming to improve accuracy.
After this edit, my account received a 30-day suspension under the Wayfarer Abuse Enforcement Ladder. I contacted support to understand the reason, but the response I received only stated that the edit violated Wayfarer criteria without specifying which criterion was violated.
My intention was simply to improve the accuracy of the Wayspot information, not to manipulate locations, create spam, or promote a business.

Because of this, I would sincerely appreciate clarification on:

Which specific Wayfarer criterion a title edit like this would violate.

Whether updating the real-world name of a location could be considered a policy violation.
I want to make sure I fully understand the criteria so I can contribute correctly in the future.
If possible, clarification from the Wayfarer team would be greatly appreciated.
