Hello, I have been suspended from the game for some editions of a pokestop which only edited title, description and photo. At no time edit the location of this as mentioned in the email. Both the title and description editions were approved
Have you used the link in the email to submit an appeal if you believe this was unfair?
Yes, but I’m worried because I was looking forward to the community day of machamp and gigantamax and they suspend me
Just in case they don’t accept your appeal, be sure to get friends to save them to trade you when you can access your account again. If this was just a misunderstanding, then we have seen punishments shortened or lifted. Especially when understanding of the mistake is acknowledged.
(I understand this hurts, and am not sure that came through in my answers.)
Can you explain what you were changing with the waypoint?
It says malicious location edit, so what was the aim of the location edit you tried to make?
And with the other changes, did you submit multiple changes at once? What were you trying to update?
It might help us explain what happened
The middle email is a specific example and it says it was incorrect or spam edits. So I think that is the main issue.
I appreciate that sometimes you want to appeal as quick as you can but do take a little time to think about what you did and if you believe there was no mal-intent try to see how it might be interpreted by others. You then need to provide evidence if possible of what you intended and it needs to be focused on Wayfarer. If in that process of consideration you realise you did do something wrong, then do say so and explain why.
As far as Gmax is concerned you could possibly trade …or just wait- things have a tendency to come round again.
I have sent you a DM with details. Please check it for more information.
The email indicates that it was a location edition, but it is not like that. I didn’t send a location edit, the suspension was due to a third-party photo. That someone else took and I sent it
I hope you give that person a stern talking to.
There’s nothing explicitly against using a photo a friend or associate provides you, but you’re assuming all risk if that photo was taken from a external source or they post it in other locations making it look like it’s 3rd party.
Sorry about the unfortunate situation to be in.
