  • Additional Information: I don’t know why this portal was removed if it meets all the criterias.

Is it part of the school? That’s the only reason I could maybe see for it being reported.

No, it is not part of the high school. They are two different institutions separated by space and fences, so I don’t quite understand the issue.

There is a portal that exists in the cell (assuming the co-ordinates are correct). Not sure if that existed before or not. I wonder if the facilities is aimed at the K12 audience?

Both portals existed simultaneosly and were correctly positioned, but no, that is not aimed at high school students. It is designed for audiences of all ages, where people can socialize and share sporting moments.

If both of them existed in Pokemon Go at the same time, I would be surprised, especially if they were in the same cell. I suspect Niantic will be able to provide an answer to why it was removed.

I don’t know about Pokémon GO. I have seen those portals on Ingress.

Ok. I didn’t realise you referred to Ingress. The portal would have fallen within the new 20m rule. But if it existed before the 20m rule came into play, Niantic might be able to provide an explanation.

Thanks for the appeal, @MagnaXeross. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
