Review help due to photo (and support sucks!)

I have been reviewing nominations and have hit one to which I do not know how to continue. The nomination is a mural above a fast food takeout (independent), and whilst the mural is pretty good, it contains the businesses phone number across the middle of it in large writing obscuring the mural itself. My concern is that knowing how quickly these businesses change, and the fact the mural itself is obscured by the number it seems to me at least potentially un-useable and not permanent. What would you all advise?

I also reached out to support with a screenshot of the review asking for some guidance, and was told they could not advise, sent me a link to the photo review help page, and told me to come here. I am not happy with that response to be perfectly honest, as I (and all of us here) have taken time out of our day to help improve Niantics mapping with little to no benefit to ourselves. I do not want my rating to go down because I am unsure of a review and my opinion might differ to others. Surely they could/should assist in matters like this, improving knowledge of what consists a suitable waystop.

Do you have the photo to show us? I normally do not worry about a phone number in the photo.

Unless the issue you want to discuss is how support could be more helpful to reviewers. Do you mean help chat? I would never have dreamed of asking them a criteria question. They would not be able to do the things they were hired to do if they had to answer criteria questions all day long.

Hello @joffaloff1 and welcome.

There isn’t a quick support service for queries you might have whilst reviewing.
You have about 20 minutes to complete a review then it times out. Which will probably have happened. The alternative positive choice is to skip that review.

With out a photo or streetview screenshot it’s hard to say whether or not it was acceptable. But from what you say it sounds ok. A mural is good and if it happens to have a business phone number or website on it that is basically ok. You don’t have to choose :+1: or :-1: you can select I don’t know under accuracy and tick the other box or photo box.
Does this help?
