When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Wayspot Title: Llave de Agua
Location (lat/lon): Monzón de Campos
City: Palencia
Staff has told us that string is just what shows up when abuse is flagged. I hope they change the wording.
It is likely that something else caused this to be flagged. Often it is a third party photo being used, a very misplaced pin, or a fake nomination. Can you think of anything about this nomination that might have been marked as abuse?
I would hope that people in the region who would review this would understand the dating system. If this is truly the reason it was marked as abuse, then it should be an easy appeal of that reason, but they may not think it meets criteria anyway. Are you certain there are no other issues with the pin, etc.?
(I want to be clear that I am not staff. Any staff members who reply here would be clearly identified as Niantic names. Wayfarer Ambassadors who are go betweens for the community like @kawin240 have the Ambassador label by their name and usually have a picture avatar. I was just trying to pass along information to help.)
I got so focused on the abuse question, that I forgot to talk about the criteria question. I am not sure that a “Water Key” meets criteria of a great place to exercise, explore, or be social. What were your arguments for that?
The rejection reason you received never means you did any or all of what is listed. The actual rejection reason is “Abuse of Wayfarer”, not harassment, not text, not whatever else is in the listing.
You so far only shared the main photo and description with the forum here, and we found nothing that would contribute to this reason. You can now either post the other parts of the submission like title, location, supporting photo and supporting text, or wait patiently until eventually staff might answer you.
Hello, I understand it is rough and hard to make good wayspot in rural area, however you are violating Wayfarer Term of Conditions.
That is a straight violation, I understand you want some pokestop in your area, but it is a violation on the Wayfarer ToS. You could get banned in both Wayfarer and any Niantic(Scopely) game.
