Rewards for reviewing?

So iv’e heard that there used to be rewards for reviewing pokestops so k wonder if it still is or if they removed the rewards

I mean, technically your reward for reviewing wayspots submissions is getting new Pokestops, Gyms, and Power Spots added to the game.

They have not had a challenge with bonuses for reviewing since the last one ran out of nominations to be reviewed and had to be ended early. Honestly, I don’t ever expect to see another challenge, but I am sure they are trying to come up with something.

I think what @seaprincesshnb meant to imply was that there has never been specific rewards apart from new game locations.

As @cyndiepooh stated there has been the occasional challenges which did give in game rewards but nothing has been stated for any future challenges.
