Avevo proposto una nuova palestra, non accettata. In seguito ho fatto il ricorso ed è stato accettato, mi hanno inviato una mail dove dicevano che entro 48 ore poteva essere visualizzata sul gioco, ma dopo 3 settimane ancora non è stata messa nessuna palestra. Come mai?

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. The S2 cell use has not been officially confirmed as far as I am aware, but staff has acknowledged there is an additional step after acceptance. Thank you for submitting a Wayspot nomination! While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.

The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.

Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.

Se è possibile si può sostituire una palestra poco raggiungibile con un pokestop e cambiare un pokestop con una palestra?
Praticamente abbiamo l’unica palestra non poco usata in quanto fuori dal centro del paese.
E vorremmo sostituirla con un’altra palestra che attualmente è un semplice pokestop nel centro abitato.

Please define “hard to reach”?

Wayfarer wont edit gym just because its hard to reach for some community such as inside paid area (amusement park) or gated community (condominium, apartment, business,etc)

In addition, gym selection is random to prevent abuse.

Why is it unreachble due to ice? If people outside towncenter can reach it safely , its not ground for removal. There could be other person in the other side which can access it safely. Imagine there is another person on the other side when suddenly gym dissappear and he ask for the same “hard to reach” reason but return the gym to original location

OK, I will try to make simple answers.

• Selecting which Pokestops become a Gym is not an option. This would be abused when 1 group wants the Gym to move closer to their play area then a 2nd group will want it moving back.
• As long as the Gym is available some of the time it shouldn’t be removed. Think of places such as Theme Parks, these are only open during the day and during the open season but they have many waypoints.
• Remember, the game is “Pokemon Go”, the whole idea is that you are meant to go out and explore.
• If you are wanting more waypoints that may turn in to Gyms then you need to get out and make more nominations. Make sure you know the criteria to increase the chance that it will be accepted then read about S2 Cells (link below) so accepted nominations will appear.
• If you want suggestions of whether your nominations are likely to be accepted or how to improve your chances please post in “Nomination Support”. You could even ask if people could check the maps in your area and give suggestions.

Hi, just to be clear and to add to the above, Pokémon GO gym status is not something the Wayfarer forum or team can help with.
