Sad state of affairs

Largest problem i see is that no matter the issue there is 0 accountability on the side of wayfarer… i have yet to see a single rejection a denial or a suspension with any attempt at justification. If someone is having a bad day and just starts taking it out on the community, nobody is the wiser, and the community and or user is screwed over without ever knowing why. Its a problematic system at best.

Watch me get flagged for saying as much…

Hello and welcome @FishStikAlaMode

People are always welcome to post opinions as long as they remain respectful.

Have you any specific examples you wish to share as that is always better than general comments?

For people that have broken the rules and received a sanction they get emails citing an example.
If they are still unclear or wish to learn more or appeal further then they are welcome to post on this forum. If you look you will see plenty of examples and you will also see that where evidence is presented that demonstrates that a mistake was made, the team will reverse the decision.
Wayfarer allows people to demonstrate they are not breaking the rules with a redemption period.

For normal rejections then the system for understanding rejections could be better but the community here will always help people to u derstand specific cases as to what went wrong, if it is viable how to improve it, and often find other suitable things.

That’s pretty hyperbolic! Allow me to show you a single rejection from last night that I can justify with no hesitation:

As you can see from the photograph, the Performing Arts Center being nominated is at a high school, which falls under the category of K-12 schools, and I rejected it for that reason.

There, you have seen a single rejection with justification. But that isn’t really what your complaint is, is it?

Sorry, but this just means you haven’t been paying attention. This forum is full of examples of people having suspensions explained to them. There are also many examples of Niantic employees contacting people directly and deciding to reverse suspensions. Most of those conversations happen in private messagss so we can’t read the details, which is appropriate because account details are being shared. But we can see that an employee has reached out to begin a private message.

Stick around and read some more. Our whole goal here is to educate people to help them become better Wayfinders.
