Hello

I need advise on a Scout Hall I subbed it years ago and it got rejected for school, but I read recently if you can prove it has other used it can be eligible, well I just found out they have a hall hire page (Hall Hire – Calne Scouts) as you can see on the schedule they have movie nights, Martial arts, Pantos and more. If I were to sub it again would providing this link in the additional information be enough for it to be Eligible?

This one addresses your issue:

If the primary focus is for scouts, then it is not eligible. Even if they do allow others to use it at times.

This is an interesting situation.
It is clearly a scout hall so intended for use for scouts so under 18s, which makes it ineligible.
However looking at the timetable it seems to be functioning more like a Village Hall with the scouts in all their forms being in the minority usage.

So I can see why you are asking.
The issue is that if the bookings for other uses change it remains a place for scouts. So although they have the minority usage now they are the only group guaranteed to continue at that hall. Whereas a village hall is always available for anyone.
So given all that it remains ineligible.
