Is there any guidance available for reviewing photos that don’t meet the criteria when the actual POI itself doesn’t meet the criteria?
As can be shown below, the POI itself relates to an organisation and the photograph is the company’s van.
The options available in Wayfarer do not give the option of flagging the overall ineligibility of the POI.
I would copy as many details as I could, reject all the photos and then send a report about an ineligible wayspot that I saw in review. That’s assuming there is no report button available anywhere on the photo review page. Someone else will know the form to use, but I have in the past opened a thread here for things like this.
There’s a decent chance Niantic staff will spot this thread.
You might want to change the title to make it clear the wayspot is blatantly ineligible, not just the photos.
Hmm. Maybe this is a powerspot not a wayspot? I really hope they don’t show up in review as if they are wayspots.
With the “place holder” as the other image I would assume this is a Powerspot edit.
Select both images and submit.
I saw the same edit, I assume that it’s a Powerspot. I just marked both photos as not meeting criteria.
Thanks for the comments. I hadn’t considered it might have been a power spot. Can’t recall seeing if there were any images when about to take on a Power spot.
