  • In pokemon go I believe in 2021 this was a gym and ended up being removed by the property owners, recently someone resubmitted this building and has a watermark in the corner. Also St Andrew isn’t even the name of the church, it used to go by the name of Knox United Church but it has been converted to apartment buildings

Wow this is a complicated one. What I have done when I saw a new Pokestop pop up where I knew the church had had them removed is send the church an email so they know it exists. Niantic will remove for property owners. They must not have asked for a geoblock back in the day.

i think it was actually still an apartment building back when it got removed too, the church has been out of commission for a while. Didn’t realise they also had to request geoblock in addition to removal, they probably would’ve if they had known though
