Hey Wayfarer community, I wanted to get some insight on something odd. There were only two PokéStops in a single Level 14 cell—one added today (Plymouth Brethren Christian Church sign) and one that was there since 2020 (McDougalls Reserve). After the new stop was added, the original one disappeared. Both were in separate Level 17 cells, so I didn’t expect one to replace the other. Has anyone else seen this kind of removal, or do you know if the original Wayspot might have been taken down or edited? I’d love some clarity
It may have happened at the same sync, but the one stop did not replace the other. The one that is gone has most likely been removed if there is nothing else going on, like campsite or sponsored locations.
Do you think the removal was not justified?
(When I say “removed” I mean as a game location. This could happen because the Wayspot was removed entirely, the game location was removed because of a property owner request, or the Wayspot was location edited to where it is no longer eligible to be a Pokestop.)
If you would like to share the location, I can take a look and try to guess. GPS coordinates are easiest, but a general address works, too.

I don’t know anything about pogomaps. This is showing on PokemonGo.com/maps. Is this the stop you thought was gone?

The actual location is straight across the road whoever uploaded didn’t upload it from the right if you use your maps you’d be able to see

It is showing as a Pokestop on the wayfarer map.
My immediate thought is possible Property Owner Request but definitely guessing…
Ok so that live on whatever that is but on Pokemon go itself it only shows the church if you give me a couple of minutes I’ll go down and I’ll screenshot my screen and upload
I don’t need to see what PogoMap.Info shows. You can confirm what is there or not for sure at Map - Pokémon GO

Are you standing right at the Pokestop you think is missing? They have reduced the distance the nearby shows some objects to try to mitigate crashing. Have you restarted while you are there?
I was stand on the POI I have signed out and reloged that the stop. I even get someone else to relog there and nothing happened that’s why I’m so confused
I am confused, too. I don’t even understand which of the Pokestops you mentioned is missing for you. I will have to leave this for staff.
