- Additional Information (if any): Hey there, this Wayspot has been disappearing and reappearing in pokemon go for years. The wayspot is still in ingress and ive spoken to people in the wayfarer community and they cant figure out why it keeps disappearing.

There are currently 4 wayspots in this Level 17 S2 Cell that I can see. As well as the Wayspot you’ve posted, I can see “St. Bede’s Chapel”, “St. Bede’s Chapel & Community Centre” (one of those should be removed as a duplicate of the other), and “Hamilton Memorial Church Stone”.
Can you confirm if any of those other wayspots are also in Pokémon Go?
Hey there! I cant say ive seen “St. Bede’s Chapel” in any Niantic game, “St. Bede’s Chapel & Community Centre” is in Pokemon go (So if you submit a duplicate report please make sure its “St Bede’s Chapel”), and “Hamilton Memorial Church Stone” isnt in Pokemon Go.
Right, that will be why this Pokéstop is behaving intermittently. My guess is that it was moved at some point, and now it’s in the same cell as St. Bede’s Community Centre & Chapel. Normally, when a stop is moved into an already occupied cell, it is meant to disappear from Pokémon Go so that no proximity rules are broken. However, there have been a few reported instances of buggy behaviour like this where the stop keeps appearing and vanishing.
Last time I saw something like this, @NianticAaron was able to fix the stop in question and prevent this from happening. Clearly something is still not working right, so it might need sending to the appropriate team for bug fixing.
Maybe if we ask nicely whilst it’s being fixed, “St Bede’s Chapel” at 53.395085,-3.056599 can be retired for being a duplicate of the existing stop for the Community Centre and Chapel.

Hey Hank, I really couldn’t tell you to be honest, I’m pretty new to this but I’ve had some experienced people from the wayfarer community look at it, and nobody can figure out what’s causing it as if you check every stop, nothing has changed in a long time. Martin’s Bank Sign is the oldest stop in this area and it’s always freaked out like this for some reason. I hope it can get fixed soon as it has a great bit of local history involved in it.
In my area, these Pokestops are called “hide and seek Pokestops”

It’s so strange why it comes and goes though with 0 changes! I really hope Niantic can fix it!
This Wayspot is not eligible to appear in Pokémon GO. I have enforced the dataflow so that it does not stay in limbo.
