It will be a case by case scenario. Not all descriptions will be approved in the absence of or replacing of low quality descriptions.
Can we get see an example of one of your rejected edits?

Do you mean when you look at some wayspots they do not have a description?
Yess exactly, it is some of the original once when Pokemon go started in 2016.
Way back from the Ingress Scanner [Redacted] days when they didn’t need to have one.
I’ve been adding descriptions to a few of those for the Challenge
Ahhhhhhh gotcha. Back in the day, people from the planet called Ingress, they could submit portals without having to provide a description. Also some nominations were imported as well. I heard rumours about Ingress, but can’t talk about it here.
Yess me too some gets rejected. But I realized some of my mistakes is like Grammer. So don’t know ML rejects because of that. I used the same description and just add fullstop at the end. Then got approved
