Hello,
Finding conflicting info on this so whats the agreed action for nominations that mention Pokemon Go in the Supporting Information “Would make an excellent pokestop, Not many pokestops in this area.” etc.
Does it make a difference if the PGo mention is all that is provided or just part where the rest of the info would make a decent nomination?
TIA
You review the nomination as per normal and just ignore those types of supporting information. It is only when game specific terminology unrelated to the actual point of interest is included in the title or description that you should reject it.
While it is understandable why people include those types of supporting comments, in the end it is just white noise for a reviewer since it is not a consideration in whether we approve or reject a nomination.

So what happens if the PGo specific is all their is, should we reject as no supporting information?
Having essentially no supporting text is not a reason to reject a nomination. Just base your review on the main and supporting photos along with google maps.

The way the prompt is worded, providing this kind of supporting statement is understandable. Just not helpful to their nomination.

Some things are very obviously eligible without any additional information needed and some are very obviously ineligible.
Supporting information is useful for things that are harder to make a decision on, and all they did is miss the opportunity to tell us more that might help us decide to accept.
I also just ignore those statements, they dont make a difference either way.
The other thing thats often misunderstood is that people CAN reference pokémon in the title or description if its relevant. For example a gaming cafe that hosts Pokémon card game tournaments, it might be relevant and helpful to write this in the description. This would not make the nomination ineligible. Mentioning pokestops would.

It’s never relevant information to the nomination if there’s game wording in there, I’ve found so I treat it like they’ve not included any supporting information and review the rest of it.
