Moving the threshold from 50 to 40 does essentially nothing. I must assume I am not alone in spending multiple hours attempting to review but only achieving 20+ reviews due to the technical issues. All that for the challenge to end on short notice with a modification that leaves me (and numerous others) with no reward at all despite our collective hard work. Please reconsider the threshold for rewards, and in light of the rampant technical difficulties and cutting the challenge short, a generous threshold (such as 10+ reviews) would be the only way to allay the community frustration.
As is this was a miserable experience with absolutely no positive for myself and many others.

Not seeing what youâre seeing, the comment doesnât have it. Realistically this falls to Tintino.
By having a mod edit, I have a take something about ambassadors taking heat was once in.
It was a non sequitur, I didnât go up the chain enough.
The edit was to remove 1 single bad word that doesnt affect the context of the message 1 bit.
I see going up the chain it was a non sequitur. fixingâŠ
Ambassadors are gods! Surely?
Im just a peasant⊠#3 actually

an ambassador who did what?
Posted this thread in the first one, which is still the blog linked Thread. (and locked, good things)
It still feels intended to be buried because scrolling to the bottom of forum threads isnât intuitive unless youâve used it for a while and no edits in the first post by Tintino about this thread which they also made.
I understand the challenge and experienced the lag and lack of reviews, but can we please allow the lowest tier to include the OPR live badge tick? I spent hours trying to get my reviews, with errors, timeouts, and trying to add value not just click through to get âcreditâ, and then for it to end early with âoverwhelming successâ comes off tone deaf to the hundreds of folks working on this challenge for whatever they perceived as value/reward.
I could literally care less about the top tier rewards, but the OPR live badge tick to me matters since ingress is a community driven game. Yâall took away Seer badge, because players were submitting questionable spots.
Please think about rewarding those that contributed even ever so slightly to this challenge about granting them their OPR tick. Whatâs it really cost you to do so? Nothing. Itâs literally a showy badge that shows you are invested in the community.
Sincerely,
Disappointed Ingress Player

Yep it took me a lot of time to do just 56 reviews and i stopped cuz loading time was killing me.
But i like this challenges, maybe ill do more if the nÂș of reviews needed to get individual rewards are less time consuming.

Does the decrease from 50 to 40 for the Community Rewards actually accomplish anything? From the posts here there is a group of people who reviewed 100+ and then a group of people (usually those most impacted by lag/other technical difficulties) that seem to have reviewed in the 10-40 range. Speaking for myself, hours of attempts resulted in I think 20-something reviews (I have no way to check as the announcement and challenge end both occurred while I was at work). Moving the cutoff by merely 10 seems to accomplish nothing in light of the early termination of the event. A cutoff of 10 or even 5 would at least reward all the players who attempted to participate. This event is completely hollow for me and doesnât encourage further participation.

Thatâs what Iâm saying. It doesnât. Weâre at the mercy of the system.
Also, @NianticAtlas my post was productive. I donât need an outside mod team to do damage control now. Iâm pointing this out purposely for transparency to everyone here.
Iâm once again asking for the original conditions to be honored.
Then bring the niantic staff who chose to end it early in here.
Ambassadors need to stop defending the system and sticking up for the community that they are suppose to support.
The event was horribly run, and people are outraged - yet this discussion has turned from that into a 'dont yell at me Iâm just doing my jobâs.
Well your job is for the community and they are mad. Fix it

No need to spam, you can contribute to discussions, but spamming in this format is not going to accomplish anything.

Yes it is, itâs sending a message. Listen to the message.
Read the room.
Your anger is misdirected. And this is a kind reminder to stay respectful.
Yes ive read the room, 100s of messages contributing their feelings and having discussions, spamming does nothing to help the situation
