What reason did you choose for the removal report?

Once accepted in game, “does not meet criteria” is not a removal reason. To be removed, a Wayspot must meet one of the following:
No Pedestrian Access
Obstructs or interferes with Emergency Services
Private Residential Property
School (up to K12; including Day care/Child care services)
Permanently removed from the location
Duplicate of another Wayspot
Faked nomination with evidence to support it

I also hate to see cemetery locations in game, as they are all “sensitive locations” imo, but that isn’t a removal reason.

You can reach out to the cemetery to let them know the wayspot is there. If they want to have it removed, Niantic will remove it for a property owner.

Thanks for the appeal, @AccSub3Mien. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.

You can reach out to the cemetery management and let them know about the Wayspot and they can ask Niantic to remove it if they do not want it there.
