Hi, yes i did
After a few changes of bonus location I was banned for “strange activity” for 24 hours. Now I still have bouncing balloon. How am I supposed to reach any level during this challenge?!?!
I think the system is overloaded. It’s just a shame, a review every 10 to 15 minutes, no matter which bonus location. Thanks for nothing…
The only thing I get is this the last couple of days.
I only need to do 170 for the 500 reviews. I hope I will get there…
It seems the wayfarer system is very slow here. I’ve tried to change my bonus location, but still not loading new reviews.
The Wayfarer servers should have been better prepared; it was obvious that many people would rate… If anyone wants to learn German, check out my current ads on Wayfarer. Unfortunately, they’re very frustrating and perform poorly.
For me the same. Yesterday started - one successful, the a 24 hrs cooldown. Today two succesful, hours of a jumping balloon and then the same silly messages. I give it up.
I am trying to participate in the reviews, but when I click on review in Wayfarer it just spins and I never actually get anything to review. Anyone have any ideas?
I decided to make fanart to stop myself from getting frustrated looking at the balloons. The first one is in my local language, the next one in English. Hopefully the situation will improve before the next one is done.
That’s what happens when you don’t do your homework properly.
People spent their time to Niantic, or whoever. And as a thank you, the reason for the disastrous Global Wayfarer Review Challenge is not mentioned at all.
Let the fools do their thing …
It’s the weekend for a start. Also, in some areas around the world it’s Easter Sunday and a religious day of rest. I think it’s unreasonable for the Niantic staff to respond over this weekend.
Impossible to get 500 with this lag… please do something with your servers.
It’s not a server issue. It’s a lack of nominations in the home and bonus locations. You can change this in your Wayfarer Settings for this event.
I’ve done that several times. Are you telling me there are no nominations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vegas, and Madrid?
There may be some, but without knowing the mechanics, it may not be released to the masses en masse. It may be necessary to keep on changing locations until you find a place that has some to review.
Keep checking back here for updates on where to set your location(s) and then WAIT 5 - 10 minutes for the change in your location to register.
Au vu de la situation , je crains que nous ne puissions pas atteindre le 3eme pallier en temps que communauté , non pas a cause de notre manque de motivation mais due au manque d’offre , auront nous du temps supplémentaire pour faire face a cette situation ?
I found lots in Rome and Milan
Oh, no! Terrible sorry, but that’s not what I meant! My boyfriend plays as well but has barely touched wayfarer since the old interface days. So I showed him how it works. I was happy we managed to clear house here, especially with the little one doing a lot of reviews! There was a PoGo event yesterday and there were about 30 people from our region gathered, so I tried to sell them on the challenge. Most players always ask how to create wayspoints, so I usually tell them to read the general guidelines and do a few reviews while me (and the other experienced wayfarers) are present, so we can help them. I usually grab their phones and show them how the system works, how to use street view, google translate, point duplicates, generic submissions, and whatnot. Most people have done it in the past, but got weary after the interface changed. I do a few reviews for them to show how to handle duplicates, wrong (or false) locations, third party or bad, generic or low quality submissions, or unacceptable descriptions (plus eligibility criteria), but I don’t do it for them past the first few. Then add that most don’t even have wayfarer accounts, or those who have don’t know what challenges are… not an easy thing to accomplish…
I always say the best way to learn how to be a good creator is to learn from reviews. And if you’re not sure, skip. I’m terribly sorry if I’m doing something wrong, but it’s not easy to motivate semi-regular players to contribute. I’m an hardcore player and I still get scolded by my boyfriend every now and then… and he’s a better wayfarer than me!
We don’t have an ambassador, unfortunately, and have no wayfarer contacts, but some people here have hundreds of nominations approved and try to help others. I’m at a few dozen, but I came late to the party and my area is nearly all mapped. So I end up reviewing far more than submitting. But I get that we are lucky in that regard, so I’m glad to help other areas when I can.
Anyway, I’m terrible, terrible sorry if I gave the wrong idea. I was just hyped I had a great reason to motivate my local community to contribute! We use each other’s phones, but only in the sense that sometimes, someone’s cooking/cleaning and the other is available, so he keeps and eye on the game. You know, the usual couple stuff.
How are we supposed to reach the 50 reviews when there are none available to do so?
