I’m talking about consistency here, and some of their replies, not just to me, have been inconstant, which can be confusing to some. For me, I am not so sure that they will move on from not resubmitting or appealing.

Just so you’re aware, I have muted you. If there were a block option, that would be utilised. I understand you are a very experienced wayfarer but the responses you have given, while very knowledgeable, aren’t always one that creates a friendly or welcoming community for newcomers, and certainly not one that makes people just starting out want to stay and actively participate.
You commented your thoughts once and I said in closing that “I take your point and I appreciate your input”. Every comment thereafter from you, seemed from a point of wanting to dig in and shame — and that’s not something I am down to take.
If you wish for a personalised “I have dropped this nomination” look to the sky, I’ll send up smoke signals
