Hello, I was lucky enough to successfully nominate three new Wayspots on November 29th, it says it can take 48 hours to appear, but it has been over two weeks, is there a way to ensure they are added into the game?
If they haven’t appeared in Pokémon GO after 48 hours, it sounds like they don’t meet the inclusion rules for Pokémon GO.
If you have the coordinates from your submission email, folks here will be able to show you more clearly.

They are on a central path that is clear and open for pedestrians, with other spots along the route, so that does not seem to fit my situation. One is an outdoor seating area to play chess and the like.
Going live in the game depends completely on the S2 cells. If you give the coordinates, or just a general address, we can show you.

Whether a wayspot appears in Pokemon Go does not have anything to do with what it is or what the walking situation is like.

@cyndiepooh 's link will go in to this in much more detail and is definitely worth reading.
Just a simple notes on what seems to have happened here…
- Your nominations have been accepted as “Waypoints” in to the Wayfarer Database.
- Each game then has “inclusion rules” which determine which will be used “In Game”.
- In regards to Pokemon Go, it uses a Cell System where only 1 waypoint will be used in each cell as a Spot or Gym.
If this is the case then Your nomination may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).

I guess it could be an S2 cell issue, but we have several stops that are within the same S2. And while I get it that wayfair and pokemon are separate, you’d think that if folks are adding to the game and it is approved, they’d put it in.
fyi, there are many different size S2 cells. and there are ways that a single L17 S2 cell could have more than one pokestop/gym, but it is not possible to create these intentionally through wayfarer these days. also, some apps displaying S2 cell grids that i don’t use have been reported to just be wrong.
if you don’t want to give the location, you do not have to. but that is the only way we can see if that is the issue.

Forgive me inexperience with this, but how would I share the location with you?
If you don’t have the email with the gps coordinates, the title and street address will usually work. But there isn’t a way to share privately with me. An Ambassador may be able to send you a DM.

It looks like this one actually belongs south, which would put it in an empty cell. If this one is not showing in game, you can ask help chat to do the edit.

They only do location edits to correct the real life location of a Wayspot, not for game reasons. Do not even mention cells or Pokemon Go if you ask them to move it.

I guess if I could get it moved to be in the empty cell that would be great, but the two up above it, just wont ever show in the game then?
which one is a pokestop right now? only one of those three clustered together would be eligible to be a pokestop or gym after the other is moved from that cell.
they also appear to be too close to be used as power spots.
