How can we solve if the approved Wayspot didn’t show up in the game.

1. Wait 48 hours
- If after 48 hours the accepted nomination is not displayed in the game, it means it was placed in the same cell as an existing wayspot.
So anything we could do? Can I remove my approved nomination then ?
If the Wayspot is in the correct real world location, there is nothing to do. Submitting away from where the point of interest actually exists is abuse, and resubmitting now would just be marked as a duplicate.
Not going live in Pokemon Go is not a reason for removal.
You don’t need to. It might become a powerspot, but if it is a valid wayspot, there is no need to remove it just because it isn’t visible in Pokemon Go. In theory, it could get used by other games that use the wayspots.
What you can’t do is resubmit in the wrong location just to make it appear in Pokemon Go.
I guess only if it no longer exists or breaks the rules.
Thanks all. Just feel such a shame that the picture of my nominated wayspot is very attractive. 
It’s make trainers happy when they spin that spot. 
This can happen if the cell boundaries line-up.
The wayspots are placed at the edge of the cells then while still both appearing, this way they look very close

If you want to give us the gps coordinates as mentioned in the linked topic, we can show you what the cells look like there.
No need to do this if you would rather not reveal your location.
Not seeing it on Street View (as its 2022) but it seems to share a cell with 2 other waypoints…
- Merchiston Place 1893
- Tempo Perso
(Note: The data we have stopped updating May 2025).
One of these are likely to be the Stop / Gym for this cell…
Your nomination may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint(s) if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
it does look like a nice place.
Hopefully your next one will not only be as nice but the cells will be in your favour. 
I offered to show you what the cells look like if you gave the location. I Googled “Jan’s Bubble” and came up with the coordinates at the red pin:
This is a map of portals that stopped updating with new Wayspots in May this year due to the separation with Scopely, but one of those dots is probably a Pokestop or a gym. Being alone in one of the smaller (L17) grids is required for something to become a Pokestop or gym.
The larger cell I have outlined in green (L14) is used in the calculation for promoting gyms. You get gyms at 2, 6, and 20 total Pokestops/gyms in one of these L14 cells. Three is the most that can be created through Wayfarer.
The dots in this screenshot may not accurately reflect the Pokestops/gyms because this was never a map of all Wayspots, and because it is no longer associated with Wayfarer, but the cell lines are correct.
