Tips on appealing?

Hi @Swallex
This seems to be a large building. Is there maybe something inside to nominate? A mural, art, gathering spaces?
Is this still there?:

Thanks. I will check next time I’m there. That’s a good suggestion.

I asked for advice about this specific waypoint and have thanked each person who have advice at the beginning but now just feel that people are either repeating or telling me to drop any other nominations. I did not ask advice moving forward since they gave me the the criteria and say “that’s all I need to know”. I’ll figure the rest out myself since again, I’m the only person here who has actually been in the area…

Thank you for your help all, but again, I feel the topic is resolved.

I agree that can feel problematic and can be discouraging. I would hope that advice has been sincere, but again can agree with not feeling good on the receiving side.

I do want to make a last suggestion to reconsider this when you need to (doesn’t have to be now and you can certainly try any attempt you want - but reviewers who see this also won’t have actually been to the area and, as I’d said, people in here can offer thousands of points of experience and have often (as exhibited) been able to find other possible candidates poking around on Satellite, Street View, and other search methods. Myself, with my Home Location, I overlap parts of Detroit metro.

That said,

I would like to honor this. If you feel this thread has ran its course, please use the :triangular_flag: icon on either your original posting or on this reply of mine and I’ll gladly direct it to be closed for future comments. You may open more threads in the future should you choose.

Best of luck with contributions! PS, I grew up in Michigan and have many college friends in the Detroit suburbs. I’ve only ever gotten to play PoGO in the airport, though

It definitely isn’t a traditional office park but also isn’t that fancy. It’s just nicer than I was expecting when I got the job.

@Swallex you mentioned there are signs for a park that aren’t in great condition? Sometimes they can be accepted anyway! I’ve managed to submit some walking trail signs that were really damaged but because the sign is really just an anchor for the trail (similar to how a park sign is an anchor for a park), they were deemed acceptable. So I wouldn’t let the condition stop you trying if they are in any way readable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yeah there’s a little mini park with a sign at the entrance. I think this may be the only thing I can tey that would mee the guidelines even though it’s not in great shape. Thanks!

Good point about the reviewers not being from the area either. My post yesterday likely came off rude because honestly I was in a bad mood and was taking it too personally . I will close it up I think, thanks for the practical tip on how to do that too

Would definitely try that, it sounds like it could be a good thing to submit. Good luck!

I’ll take that as wanting it closed and will do that for you. Nothing else needed :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

If you want to let us know or have more questions do start a new topic.
Hope things work out.
