Under niatic's review results

Please provide:

• A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
• Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
• Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
• If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

Most of the pois I uploaded recently have been decided whether to approve or not after a review of niantic. However, there are some doubts. 1. Reason for rejection of the gym: k-12 This is a university gym, and many people use it because there are various sports programs for residents. Google Maps clearly says it’s a university gym, but I don’t know why.

2. It’s a university football field, and the location is also fine. It was rejected repeatedly. There is a separate building on the soccer field, and it is a facility used for watching games and resting. Of course, I applied for each object separate from the soccer field, but the soccer field was duplicated.
   

   
   
   
   
   
   
   

3. I wonder if it is correct to review directly by Niantic or if it is final confirmation of the review results of users. This is because the actions I have to do are different. If it is based on a direct review by Niantic, I think there is a problem with the quality of the reviewer.

You must understand that this is how community review works. Its impossible for wayfarer to have exclusive employee to review all nomination around the world. So they delegate most of it to local community. By doing so, new reviewer are possible to make mistake(hence we have review rating). I also hate to have my nomination rejected. Sometimes i need to submit multiple times for things that i think clearly eligible. But behind all that rejection, most of time i can improve the nomination by changing photo angle and/or description.

Anyway moving forward, you can just resubmit the nomination with additional evidence about previous rejection. Hopefully it can be accepted

One of the issues could be that there really isn’t much info about the university online. Even the website listed on Google Maps doesn’t appear to work.

Also, I do see an elementary, 2 middle, and 2 high schools in this general area, so it’s possible that the staff reviewing may have thought that these are used by those students. I even see some signs on Street View from about 8 years ago near the gym, and one does mention the elementary school on it. Therefore, this looks like it’s a campus that not only serves K-12 students, but also university/college students, and they may all have access to the various sports fields and gyms on campus.
