I nominated our local park where we usually meet up but in 1 min it got rejected I tried nominating again maybe something is wrong as this is the first I got rejected immediately without review
I searched maybe niantic detects it as an abbreviation of amniotic fluid index???
but in our place Afi means Fire. This park is important to us since we always meet up here so I nominate it
Are you able to provide us with more info on this park, such as your full nomination from Contribution Management, as well as the location? Doing a web search with the title and the images doesn’t bring up much.
Our city is not much popular enough for this to land on a simple Google search. But if Niantic is willing, I’m going to provide proofs such as videos that it is existing.
Even if it’s outside the school building(s), it’s still on school grounds and ineligible. It’s similar to a playground or sports field at a K-12 school; they are outside the school, but still on school grounds and thus ineligible.
Being it’s on school grounds, this is why ML, the AI system, rejected it, and I agree with the rejection.
it’s a public place right near the sports complex if that being the reason why many Pokéstops got approved within that area. so I really feel is the term AFI but in our language, ybanag it’s Fire
There’s a public swimming pool on the grounds of one of the high schools in the city I live in. Unfortunately, even though it’s open to the public and is managed by the city park district, it’s on the school grounds and can’t have a Wayspot.
Most of those wayspots are near the school grounds but is more likely tied to the other LGU properties rather than being directly part of the school property.
The link above and one other document support that Afi Park is inside the school property. If you think this is incorrect, showing other elements in the supporting photo may provide more context. It is also worth noting that parks inside schools are not that uncommon here in the Philippines, it would still be subject to the rejection.
Additionally, mistakes in reviewing may happen and approvals are not a stable benchmark for what is currently eligible/acceptable.
