This wayspot is a mural on a bridge. The sidewalk is extremely narrow, and the area directly next to the mural is a trash-strew vacant lot covered in needles, broken glass, etc. This is directly next to a fast moving major roadway.
There’s no safe place for anyone to stand here while raiding. It was fine as just a pokestop to spin while passing by, but as a gym it’s very dangerous and we don’t feel comfortable bringing our kids here.
Can this be adjusted back to just a pokestop?
Welcome to the forums
This pavement is a standard width and definitely cannot be described as extremely narrow. The space at the end of the bridge 20+ metres from the wayspot does not affect the wayspot (and is fairly innocuous compared to some places).
There are plenty of safe spaces to stand, including entering the raid and then walking to either end of the bridge.
I do not agree with you. The sidewalk is less than 1 meter wide and not suitable for a group. The entire area is covered with trash, you’re standing right next to cars and trucks moving at 35-50 mph, there’s no shelter, and that lot is directly next to where the gym is located.
Telling people to just enter the gym and then move elsewhere is bad advice.
I’m saying you can stay within raid distance of the gym very easily.
Thanks for the appeal, @whatisthisx , this Wayspot doesn’t meet our requirements for removal at this time. Please note that we only check for the validity of the Wayspot in question. Our gameboard is fluid and subject to change.
Best,
Thank you for the response. I am disappointed, as this does not feel safe. I will try to provide more evidence in the future.
