I’ve used an upgrade for a pokestop nomination and it’s been 3/4 days and it’s still in queue. My partner put in a pokestop nomination without an upgrade and took 2/3 days so I’m a bit confused on why the upgrade isn’t helping? Has anyone else had problems with waiting awhile?
The Wayfarer Discussion Discord has noticed that there seems to be a variable “grace period” individual to each nomination when it just will not go into voting, even with an upgrade. This period has been observed to be 1-7 days. That is within the time frame since you submitted the nomination from the date on the contribution. When it does go into voting, you should get a quicker result.
I recommend not using an upgrade for at least the first 24 hours to see if the “automated process” is going to reject it or send it to in house review.
Knowing that nominations go this quickly in your area, I might just save upgrades for later if one does seem to be stuck from now on.

Upgrades only speed up nominations once it goes to “In Voting” as it will be sent to a wider audience.
Usual Process seems to be.
That’s a interesting observation. One of my nominations waited atleast 1.5 months in queue then finally went into voting.
I have listed what “it seems to be” using my nominations.
The only ones that didn’t follow this are Edits.
the 1-7 day grace period is when it won’t go into voting, even with an upgrade. there can be other reasons it doesn’t go into voting, maybe proximity blocked by nominations in adjacent cells. was it in queue for all that time with an upgrade?
It was queue without an upgrade. It must be that other nominations I made have blocked that one going into voting. There were around 8 nominations all in voting in a very close area.
