Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.
- Description of the issue
wording on the notice of an earned upgrade has been wrong ever since we got the ability to turn off automatically apply upgrades.
- Date first (or most recently) experienced
just got this notice again today
- Device type, model, and operating system
- Game & Game Version (if applicable)
Suggested rewrite:
Congratulations, you have been awarded an Upgrade! If you have Automatically Apply Upgrades set to ON, then the upgrade was redeemed on your nomination marked to “Upgrade Next,” or your oldest pending nomination if none were marked. If you do not have any pending nominations, or if Automatically Apply Upgrades is set to OFF, the Upgrades Available count on your Profile page has increased by one and the upgrade has not been redeemed.
[edit: others who are better with words PLEASE make suggestions on exact wording]

so many people get so upset seeing this message that something was upgraded that they didn’t want. it would also help to let new reviewers know there are options, and explain what the “upgrade next” button is for.

For sure needs an update. Also, the help section on Agreements & Upgrades also needs to include edits and photo submissions, not just Wayspot submissions.
I think if the help section gets an update, then the Upgrade notice could direct users to it, something like this:
“Congratulations, you have been rewarded an Upgrade! For more information on Upgrades, please see the Agreements & Upgrades help section.”
FYI: I put Agreements & Upgrades in bold to indicate that it should be a link,

This came up in conversation again today with someone upset that the notice said the upgrade had been applied. It hadn’t. Please correct this wording. It can simply say:
Congratulations, you have been awarded an Upgrade!
