Hello all, I began reviewing waypoints last week and I feel that I understood the criteria well and have done 340 reviews so far in hopes of getting upgrades. Doing so it looks like my rating has tanked to poor but I don’t think I got the ratings wrong because everyday I sign back on my acceptances(45) and other categories are increasing? Do I just have to wait for other reviewers for my rating and acceptances go up? I guess im just unsure of what to do to help fix my rating as and Im still hoping to receive upgrades! Thank you for your time.

Niantic has said that rating is based on agreements and disagreements. When you are new and waiting on those nominations you voted on to reach decisions, it is very common to have the rating drop.
If you want to keep reviewing, you will still earn progress towards an upgrade even with a bad rating. But you will not earn credit towards the in game badges.
I always recommend going slow, and really considering your answer on each one. “I don’t know” is a valid answer.
I also recommend all new reviewers turn OFF “Automatically Apply Upgrades” in settings. That way you can choose what to use any upgrade you earn on, and not get a bad surprise that something else was upgraded.

Thank you for the information and are the badges just cosmetics for Wayfarer? Is it possible to take the upgrade next option off of a contribution?
Um you need medals to advance at certain stages in both Ingress and PoGo, but you don’t have to get this one.
If you have already applied “Upgrade Next” to a nomination, you cannot remove it, but if you turn “Automatically Apply Upgrades” to OFF, you can apply your upgrade to any nomination anyway. You can allow the “Upgrade Next” to process through like any other nomination. I did this myself just to be sure I was giving correct information. The “Upgrade Next” button will be available to use again, but may take a bit after that nomination is decided.
