Sounds like a cool and useful update, thanks for doing this!
Thank you! Love that people are no longer going to be wasting them to “automated process” rejections. And with this announcement, we can point to this as the answer to “Why can’t I use an upgrade?”

Any chance this could be reflected in the submission contributions list when viewing individual submissions or prehaps a countdown.
Also does holding the submission in hold pause the 24hour timer suspect the answer is yes
Thank you for posting this postI havnt submitted in a while and did 20 in one day.
I have never used the hold option for any length of time but many posts here state that the “Pause” does not stop during “On Hold”.
With people noting nominations going straight to “Voting” after release.
I like the idea but IMO a better implementation would have been that we could still click to nominate at any time but it wouldn’t take affect until after AI check.
I am a low numbers nominator so I have no problem using an “Upgrade” on them all but this just makes me have to remember to return after the 24 hours.
My brain is not as sharp as it was (some will say it was never that sharp before) ![]()
Thanks for the laugh! Your brain is likely much sharper than my own.
I tend to return to the My Contributions page more often than most as a compulsive editor…there’s always a typo to correct, a phrase to tighten, or a redundancy to remove! I’ll take those return visits as an opportunity to improve my submission. ![]()
Does this apply to edits and photo submissions too?
I’ve got a photo that wasn’t auto-approved by skynet, and there’s no Upgrade button. As far as I know, photos don’t have the same 24-hour pending decision thing, so why can’t I just send it to voting right away? Feels like reviewers could clear it pretty quickly.
It seems it does also apply to edits!
