Hi all Happy New Year, well I play PoGO, from a 3rd world country Guyana, South America (Better known for El Dorado), its very frustrating having limited stops and gyms based on whatever map info the game has but recently me and my community have been nominating stops and trying to keep within the criteria but the time span for a stop to appear takes about 4 to 5months, its not easy going around intensively doing nominations. Is their any tips on increasing the process??? And when its in voting stage it takes months.
Hello and welcome @JayCatchEm10
It’s not always obvious where to post on this forum and although you are setting the community a challenge ( we love a challenge ) I’m going to move this to the nomination support area. Fellow wayfinders will be happy to help you look for suitable nominations, and make good submissions to stand the best chance of acceptance.
Hello! Any chance youve been inspired by a young man who lives in the US but has family connections there? If so, he’s in my local US community. We’ve been watching him submit down in Guyana and have been thrilled with the progress.
The only way to speed things up is to get more people involved reviewing (according to the Wayfarer rules).
We have a discord server where we talk about Wayfarer. We support each other a lot like the people on this larger forum. We also try to meet up every few months to have lunch, coffe, and talk about Wayfarer. If someone has questions, thats a great time to ask them. We often end up doing reviews and have educated chats on how to catch fake submissions or how to reject something that is just really poorly done and doesn’t meet any critieria. We’ve even used this time to coordinate meetups to make submissions.
Driving up responsible participation fromnlocals is soemthing I’m passionate about. If you discover something that works for you, please let us know!
Maybe we should have a West Indian / South American challenge…
Be totally up for that
