Last year on my annual visit to New Zealand I noticed that nobody had submitted these benches with amazing views. This bench sits at the top of the popular Tobins Track with amazing views down towards Arrowtown and Queenstown.
Zimbabwe I submitted a lot of interestesting places during my year long African Trip. This one is the coolest one, this exact rock is the one that is printed on Zimbabwean Dollars. Unfortunately, they are now using US Dollar more than the local ones.
It was really hard to play there in Zimbabwe since there is almost no Pokéstop, then I found a place that felt like a paradise, with some gyms and pokéstops, Mukuvisi Woodlands Area. Even with all that, I found a lot of other interesting things worth submitting as wayspot. I got several things rejected, some of them in voting or in queue, this one is the one accepted.
I am not sure either. I upgraded 1 Pokestop in Vilanculos Mozambique, that one was after Zimbabwe. That famous beach destination does not have gym and only had 2 pokestop, I added the third one.
The ones from Zimbabwe took a really long time. I still have several pokestops submitted in January and February “in voting”. Some even still “in queue”. So I really am not sure. If there’s not enough reviewers from the area, will it ever be accepted or rejected?
Niantic will pull them for internal review at some point. I submitted a bunch of stuff in Cabo Verde in December and Niantic has decided most of them themself. A hand full are still in voting/review. Upgrades seem to get Niantic to review them more quickly too
