Wayfarer at GO Fest 2026!
Hello Wayfinders!
As we kick off GO Fest Chicago, we wanted to share some important information in advance regarding the Wayfarer booth experience so Trainers and Wayfinders can better prepare their schedules and expectations ahead of their visit.
Last year during GO Fest, we received a lot of valuable community feedback regarding swag pickup timing, booth hours, communication clarity, and overall distribution experience. Thank you to everyone who shared your thoughts and experiences with us - your feedback has helped us improve planning for this year.
Wayfarer Booth Operating Hours
The Wayfarer booth will operate during active park session hours:
Please note:

The booth will be closed during the transition period between park and city gameplay sessions

We recommend planning your visit during your assigned park session time.
Additional announcements and signage will also be displayed onsite to help guide Wayfinders throughout the event.
Swag Pickup Guidelines
To help ensure a smoother and fairer experience for everyone:

Be ready to show your Add Friend QR Code - accessible within your Profile → Friends → Add Friend section within Pokémon GO

Swag distribution is only available during your assigned park session date/time.

Staff may ask Trainers & Wayfinders to show their active park gameplay screen before scanning QR codes.
Please understand:

Swag items are available while supplies last.

Specific item availability, sizes, and quantities cannot be guaranteed.

Distribution inventory may vary throughout the event.

Swag inventory will be replenished at the start of each park session.
We understand many Wayfinders are excited about Wayfarer rewards and merchandise, especially higher-tier medal items. We have increased preparation efforts this year to help improve availability and overall distribution balance.
Important Notes
Citywide Gameplay / City Explorer Tickets
Currently, Wayfarer booth operations are tied to active park session gameplay. Wayfinders participating only in city gameplay experiences are not eligible for booth distribution access.
Swag Eligibility
This is a Pokémon GO focused event experience. Wayfarer swag eligibility will follow Pokémon GO event participation requirements.
Apparel Sizing
Apparel items may use international/U.S. sizing standards. Please confirm sizing carefully before selecting an item, as exchanges or returns will not be available after distribution.
