Wayfarer chat help, working?

While reviewing last Friday, I came across a nomination that was on a residential high school. I noticed that there were three existing way spots on the same property. The high school is across the street from a small university which is why I think the community probably approved some of these nominations, but they are clearly on the grounds of the high school which serves children sixth through twelfth grade only.
Because I’m not in the area so I can’t Report the way spots in a game I submitted them through the Wayfarer help chat, but gotten nothing in return as far as confirmation, which I have in the past. After a few days, I thought maybe I made a mistake submitting them so I tried again but still no acknowledgment. I’m wondering, if I did something wrong, or if it’s completely normal and things were just running behind.

I see that we have responded to your report. As a reminder, removal requests should be submitted through this webform instead incase you cannot report them through in-game: Request modification or removal of a PokéStop or Gym – Pokémon GO.

When you say that you’ve responded, do you mean that you responded to me or you’ve taken care of the issue because I haven’t received any emails from Niantic On the topic, hence my posting here. I’ve searched my inbox, junk mail and deleted items and there’s absolutely nothing.

if you use help chat, you do not get an email. you get a reply in the chat box, unless your browser loses the history.

it is odd that they ask for your email if they are not going to use it. but i guess it is more a confirming who you are thing.

I honestly didn’t know about the web form so I’ve used the help chat before and I received an email from Niantic saying thank you for your submission and will follow up with the outcome and they have, which is why I was expecting one this time.
I’ll certainly use the form from now on if the need arises. And, @cyndiepooh, Just a small note - Fellow Triangle resident. :blush:.

I have made many, many, many help chat reports and have never received an email from a ticket there. idk why you got an email reply for this one.
