Waypoint accepted but not on the map

Hello guys
My waypoint got accepted on 29th april but its not on the map. Yet.

How long does it take

as my other one got accepted that was around the same time and thats showing up.
Its 3 flags
On golden palm resort.

This is what I usually tell people looking for their pokestop:

I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. This is a good article about S2 cells and PoGo: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

Then I usually ask people to leave the location so someone can look it up and see if this is the issue. But the tools I usually use are not currently working. Maybe someone else can check this with the location.

I don’t know how flags in a roundabout were accepted. Flags are usually seen as “Temporary or not Distinct” and a roundabout is usually considered unsafe for pedestrian access. Just wanted to let you know that if you submit similar and they are rejected in the future.

Are you able to share with us the Co-ordinates for the location?

Hello,
Currently it is difficult to provide a clear answer as the maps that we normally use are not reliable in terms of recently added locations.

That being said I am surprised that this was approved as flag poles are rarely suitable and it looks as though it is on a roundabout.

I’m guessing this might be the location circled in yellow. It is in a separate cell.
I suspect that it might have been reported for being on a roundabout and therefore considered unsafe. It may well have been removed.

Yep, i wouldn’t count on that staying in game if it ever does appear. That does not have safe pedestrain access, as defined by the Wayfarer system.

It’s in the same cell as map meadowview board and also within 20m of it

Ah thanks.
It is also a roundabout so not safe either.
