Will this wayspot be added as a pokestop?

the coordinates are 1.294954, 103.840509, just checking since the last one i nominated got accepted but didn’t show up due to being blocked by another existing pokestop

They are both on the borders but it looks like “Rainbow playground” is already the stop for this cell.

It does look clear to become a Powerspot.

Sorry.

Vagely related question

I know links can’t be posted, but can you provide instructions for how to get the cells to appear on the web submission map, if this is what you used. I’ve hunted through WDD and have been completely unable to find anything that is an add-on beyond Intel stuff.

It is pinned in the “tools-chat” channel.

This may be an example of checking cells before submitting. The cell to the north may be empty and the wayspot for the shelter/pergola could have legitimately been located just slightly to the north.

is it ambiguous as to whether it will become a pokestop or is it 100% not going to be?

Thanks. I had hunted through there before, but had failed to notice the pin icon

True but just to make sure the OP is aware…

Now that the waypoint is accepted at a “correct” location trying to move it, even to another equally correct location is deemed Abuse and could lead too warnings / suspensions of both wayfarer a

Based on the precise location you gave, it will not become a pokestop.

They are both in the same cell. Using the marking feature highlights the same cell.

So it will not be a pokestop or gym.

Strange things can happen so will you accept if I state 99% No…

The map used is accurate.

Therefore unfortunately it won’t appear.

i’ll take any chance i have atp :frowning:

aw man

We have probably all been there in the early days of submitting.

Are there other objects near but to north of this that could be submitted in their own right?

If the other wayspot is removed, then it could go live as a stop or gym at a future date. And Power Spots are very in demand. The pool for Power Spots tends to update on the 4th of the month if there is an update. Sometimes the update is skipped. It is always good to have more Wayspots on the game board.

I feel so bad about this. You can’t move the location now, because Niantic considers trying to move an already correct Wayspot to be abuse. At least they let us explain here, even though they won’t talk about cells themselves.

They won’t allow us to post links to third party tools, or even a link to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord, but at least they allowed this post explaining: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)

Satellite view is not clear enough for me to tell, and there is no street view. What is this area?

Is it possible to provide some pictures of the areas in the unoccupied cells?

It is very difficult to see and we might spot something that might be possible that you haven’t considered?
