Ok if they got moved tgat is reasonable. And it will recalculate and if viable they will reappear.
My best guess is that because there was no synce yesterday that didn’t happen but should tonight

Yes it’s been happen ing not long after 7pm.
This is the IITC for Pitch 2. This was apparently removed for wrong location or manipulating cells. It’s on the side of the pitch and both goal posts are in empty cells.
pitch 3 is just infront of its goal post which can be seen in the upper right.
none of these were subbed for manipulation, the person who subbed them was just too lazy to go to the goal posts. (It was not me. He was mad at me for not having done them but opr/wayfarer is exhausting when the other team constantly denies everything I sub and everything has to go through appeals. So I was taking a break.)
*Edit to add: we’ll why didn’t I move them…. I can’t get moves accepted either unless I go directly to Niantic. Example, the max spot for the Pub in front of the park is on someone’s house. Requested it to be moved to the pub. Denied.
I normally place all my football pitches at one of the goals just behind, but I have placed elsewhere probably the middle at the edge on the line.
Did you use help chat bubble on the wayfarer pages to request the move? They are usually quite good .
Didn’t have the time. So I did a rush through ingame request while I remembered. I usually try to get photos and all sorts when going through the chat bubble.
You can use chat Bubble at anytime so much nicer than having to be there
Me personally, I use a corner, as standing behind a goal is not exactly the safest place …. Seeing as thsts where one team is aiming the ball at 
Though if thetes no markings, I do put it on the goal then as thats the only visible thing
