Waypoints Gone - Hunt Community

But will staff respond here? We can’t answer this question for them.

Staff could respond everywhere and nowhere if they want :woman_shrugging:t2:
But I’ve moved the whole thread now to the bug section.

This entire area has been removed from Pokémon GO at the request of the property owner(s).

WOW! ty for the answer

The area extends into the downtown area of Jacksonville nc. Was this also requested for deletion by different property owners? Or was the area that was deleted larger than requested?

All the stops/gyms in downtown jacksonville, hubert park, piney green shopping center are gone. What can we do to get back. I took this screen shot above earlier on our fb group. Anything we can do to get these back?

The only way I know of to get anything back is for the property owner who made the request in the first place to request a reversal in full or part.
I empathise with the frustration and upset that you will all have.

The thing is. There is no property owner for most of these stops. Especially downtown.

The area all around here is parks and trails. The cords are the center of the area that was wiped. 30 plus stops and 8 gyms. Nothinf we can do to get back?

There should be a Park District to reach out to. They would be the ones that maintain the parks and trails in your area.

Any idea why simultaneous removal of public, private, and federal property would occur, but also leave power spots?
Seems too coincidental like an error occurred with over reach of requested areas to be deleted or there is a bug in this area.

Its a public walk way, by a river. Parks, baseball fields, gardens, etc. There is so much that has been put into the build up of this area. There isnt one enity that would have control over it. So weird that we has a community had 5 areas completley wiped. Definitely more to it.

I’m really not sure what would have triggered the requests for removal, but I can say that the bulk of the Powerspots are pulled from a separate database.

Well there is not much you can do if property owner ask for removal

You can try making separate clarification on each area to make it clear.

It’s not one unified property owner. That is my biggest concern. It’s several city parks owned by different park districts. It’s public property in the city itself. And it’s federal property on the base. It’s all close the same area which makes it seem like over reach of the deletion request at best.

Thats why u should make separate clarification instead of putting it all together.

How many cell involved here?

Is there a mayors office or a parks office for the whole area?
Is there a contact point for the military base?
Is there cooperation between the military and civil aspects of this area - presumably there is a way they work together???

The removals procedures were all driven by a lawsuit settlement many years ago.
