Hello,
Thanks for your help.
I recently added a pokestop to the game, and after being appealed it was finally accepted.
Received an email on the print attached, stating that the wayspot will be added to the game within 48 hours.
It has been more than 3 days and the pokestop was not created yet.
Is there something wrong, do I need to adjust something?
Once again, thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Jonas
Hello and welcome,
Sorry for any confusion, as what we are doing is nominating new Wayspots, not stops/gyms for PoGo or portals for Ingress.
Approved Wayspots get added to the Spatial/Lightship map, which all Niantic games use for game play locations, with some exceptions. Each game has their own density/inclusing rules; PoGo uses S2 cells, Ingress uses a 20 meter rule. For PoGo, stops are in L17 S2 cells, and gyms the larger L14 S2 cells. More info can be found here:
https://pokemongohub.net/post/featured/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
There does appear to be another Wayspot nearby, and it may be that it is already a stop/gym in PoGo, as both seem to be in the same L17 S2 cell:

Looking at the below screenshot, your Wayspot nomination sits within 2 existing Wayspots in the same cell. Therefore won’t appear in Pokemon Go as a Pokestop / Gym, but may appear as a Powerspot, and won’t appear in Ingress.
