I have a confirmation email saying my Pokestop was accepted, but that it could take to up 48 hours to appear in game. At this time, it’s been about 3 weeks, and I still don’t see it.
Is there somewhere I should report it is missing, or what should I do?
Welcome @Bofi and @T0KY0M00N. I recommend reading the article seaprincess attached. It explains how nominations work for Niantic games.
But for the quick version - you aren’t nominating Pokespots. You are nominating Wayspots. If accepted they go into the Lightship database. Each Niantic game (Ingress, Pokémon Go, Pikman Bloom, Peridot, and MHNow) use density/promimity inclusion rules to add things to their game boards. So your nomination was accepted to the database, but did not meet inclusion rules for Pokémon Go.
Ask around as many folks here can give you more details of how to understand incision rules for Pokémon Go (and other Niantic games). We are happy to help.
Ah I see. That makes more sense. I thought though since I at least submitted it in Pokemon Go, that it would at least appear there (and optionally in other games). I had two other stops approved, and those were added soon after the email too, so I assumed the same for this one.
Yeah it’s very confusing how it’s stated from within the games. Ingress is similar with nominating Portals. The game teams want to keep immersion… but that makes it confusing for folks in situations like this.
