I made a contribution earlier this month, and it got accepted
Unfortunately it hasnt shown up in Pokemon Go or Pikmin Bloom. Its been a week since the submission got the green light.

Each game has their own unique inclusion rules, so while something has been accepted to the geospatial map, it may not show up in your games of choice.
If you are willing to share the gos location and name of the wayspot, folks here can check the map to see if it meets inclusion rules for Pokemon Go.
Pikmin Bloom does not sync regularly. So it’s hard to say if and when it may show up there in anything more than a postcard.
Also welcome to the forum!
Yes its true that accepted wayspot may not appear in any game. I have seen pokestop appear in pogo but not in ingress .the opposite also happen where portal appear in ingress but not in pokemon go. Its possible that it doesnt appear in both ingress and pokemon go under certain condition, but we need to check location. If its empty, its possible that certain geo block is in place.
Same querries. Please update us if its already posted.
Thank you very much for the clarification, should I try resubmiting the stop but moving it slightly? There is another stop nearby and it could be that they are too close.
Moving a Wayspot just so it shows up in a game is considered abuse, and against the Terms of Service.
That won’t work. The wayspot is already in the database, and it’s presumably already in the correct location. Trying to resubmit it would just result in it getting marked as a duplicate, and if you attempt to submit a wayspot away from the actual location to attempt to circumvent the proximity rules of a specific game, it could be considered abuse.
Darn thats too bad it would have been a good pokestop, but i guess i’ll try some other submitions around the area
Unused wayspot might become power spot so even though it wont become pokestop/gym, it will still benefit ingame experience. Anyway, dont move wayspot for the sake of s2 cell rule
If you do want to know more about the density/inclusion rules for PoGo, this link has some good info on the S2 cell system used:

What we are really doing with Wayfarer is adding POIs to the database map, which each game uses to determine game play locations. Like previously noted, each game have their own density/inclusion rules, with PoGo using S2 cells and Ingress using a 20 m rule.
Not all approved Wayspots will get added to the games, but they do get added to the database map, which is also used by app and software developers.
